Poleg Reservation (Poleg National Park) is located near Netania and close to Poleg River. It’s a recommended place to visit in the winter and spring of Israel. There’s a marked walking trail inside passing through green fields and the Poleg River, in which you will see water turtles swimming. It’s a two or three kilometers long, so you can pass about two hours there.

The are two main reasons to get there are the blooming of the cyclamens and the deep purple irises (in the beginning of March). You will find in this article macro photography of flowers and a turtle, as well as nature photographs and water turtles.
