The day after the hospital I visited a fishermen floating village for a few hours. The village floats on a lake, thirty minutes drive from Siem Reap. I still had a soar throat but I wanted to do something that day. A tuktuk driver picked me in the afternoon for a 4$ fee. It’s a thirty minutes ride which goes through a bumpy dirt road and I didn’t want to do it on a motorcycle.

מפרץ פאנג נגה , הכפר המוסלמי והאי של ג'יימס בונד~Phang Nga , Muslim Village and James Bond Island

March 1 to 2, 2007

I realized I lost a day or two from my original planning after the unexpected delay of the dive safari, and I was already on my way to the South. I had to options: continue to Phuket or to Phang Nga. I chose the second options because I didn’t have too much time and had no interest in the touristic and commercialized Phuket.

In order to get from Khao Lak to Phang Nga you have to take a bus that goes daily in that line, or take two buses which go every hour. The first bus is from Khao Lak to Khok Kloi and the second bus is from Khok Kloi to Phang Nga.
